Automated pH Titration for Zeta Potential & Particle Size Analysis

BI-ZTU Autotitrator

Product Overview

The BI-ZTU Autotitrator is a fully integrated titration accessory for Brookhaven’s NanoBrook zeta potential and particle size analyzers. It is designed for researchers who need precise, hands-free analysis of zeta potential as a function of pH, enabling rapid determination of the isoelectric point (IEP) and other colloidal behavior metrics. Equipped with four metering pumps, the BI-ZTU allows seamless titrations with acids, bases, salts, and surfactants, minimizing labor and reagent use while increasing productivity.

Simple USB connectivity, disposable sample cups, and intuitive software integration make the BI-ZTU both user-friendly and flexible, with capabilities to monitor how surfactant concentration and ionic strength affect particle size and charge — critical data for R&D and QC teams.

Key Features

  • Automated pH Titration: Easily determine the isoelectric point with acid/base titration or chemical reagents.
  • 4 Independent Metering Pumps: Provide maximum flexibility for titrations with acids, bases, salts, and surfactants.
  • Intuitive Software Integration: BI-ZTU integrates directly into NanoBrook's main software, simplifying experimental setup and data acquisition.
  • Determine Optimal Surfactant Concentration: Identify the minimal effective amount of surfactant for particle stabilization.
  • Disposable Sample Cups: Streamline cleanup and reduce cross-contamination risk.
  • Plug-and-Play: Quick setup with USB connection and included pH probe.
  • Versatile Sample Compatibility: Works with both zeta potential and optional particle size flow cells.
